Vale and Greenlron have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on decarbonization initiatives in Brazil and Sweden. They will develop feasibility studies for a direct reduction facility in Brazil, focusing on renewable energy and green hydrogen usage to minimize environmental impacts. Vale will supply iron ore agglomerates to Greenlron's facility in Sweden. This partnership aims to leverage Brazil's renewable energy resources and Greenlron's sustainable technology to significantly reduce the mining and metals industry's climate footprint, according to executives from both companies.
