Pakistan's scrap imports decreased by 27.9 percent in April compared to March, reaching 182,675 metric tons, according to data from the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics (PFBS). The value of these imports was $83.05 million, down by 27.7 percent month on month but up by 63.4 percent year on year. Additionally, Pakistan's iron and steel imports in April were 238,928 metric tons, down by 7.4 percent year on year but up by 83.3 percent compared to the previous month, with a value of $191.18 million.
