Pakistan's scrap imports in March 2024 were 252,982 mt, a 0.9% decrease from February but a 38.6% year-on-year increase. The value of these imports was $114.92 million, up 0.6% month-on-month and 48.1% year-on-year.
Iron and steel imports in March reached 258,299 mt, rising 79.7% year-on-year and 34.9% from the previous month, with a value of $185.37 million, up 55.4% year-on-year and 34.7% month-on-month.
