Taiwan's domestic rebar and scrap prices have declined this week, with major steel mill Feng Hsin Iron & Steel reducing its scrap and rebar offers by TWD 300/t ($9.18/t) and TWD 400/t, respectively.

The HMS 1 scrap purchase price is now TWD 10,200/tonne ($312/t), while the list price for #5 rebar stands at TWD 18,900/t ($578) ex-works. Despite these domestic price drops, imported scrap prices remain stable amid lower billet prices impacting the market.
