Indonesia's Krakatau POSCO has officially launched a solar power plant at its hot rolling facility, completing construction with the help of Krakatau Chandra Energi. The new plant, boasting a capacity of 1.12 MWp, is projected to produce over 1.6 GWh of clean electricity annually. This initiative aims to lower operational costs, enhance competitiveness, and significantly reduce emissions. Krakatau POSCO is committed to ongoing green investments to meet emissions targets and contribute to global decarbonization efforts within the Indonesian steel industry.
