According to Benchmark, there is a notable increase in prices of various Chinese battery cathode materials in March, marking the first rise in months. This surge was propelled by the recovery of lithium, nickel, and cobalt prices, coupled with a rise in orders from major cell manufacturers amidst a strengthening demand downstream. The significant price surge in Chinese lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material, alongside other key materials, reflects a positive shift in the battery materials market, driven by both market dynamics and increased orders from prominent players in the industry.
