According to Fastmarkets, Global nickel premiums remained stable as the London Metal Exchange's three-month nickel price fell to its lowest close since mid-September, reaching $16,316 per tonne on October 22. In Europe, premiums for full-plate cathodes, 4×4 cathodes, and nickel briquettes were unchanged, with the uncut cathode premium assessed at $150-300 per tonne. The Chinese market also saw flat premiums for nickel full plate cathodes amid thin liquidity. Arbitrage issues continue to hinder imports, with the import arbitrage loss narrowing slightly to $1,088.77 per tonne.
