Alliance Nickel has released a definitive feasibility study (DFS) for its NiWest nickel-cobalt project in Western Australia, highlighting its potential to produce an average of 20,000 tonnes of nickel and 1,600 tonnes of cobalt annually over the first 12 years. The project boasts a post-tax net present value of AUD 1.5 billion ($975.5 million) and a life-of-mine of 35 years, with plans to process higher-grade ore for the initial 27 years. The company anticipates strong support from debt providers and aims for a final investment decision in H2 2025, with first production targeted for late 2027.
