Scrap prices in Western Europe have experienced a slight decline recently. This trend is attributed to increased availability of scrap and subdued demand from buyers. Despite initial intentions from sellers to raise prices by €5–10 per tonne, the market has not responded favorably due to restocking ahead of the new year and a lack of significant pickup in end-use demand. Currently, scrap prices range between €355 and €390 per tonne, depending on the grade and country.
