The US Department of Commerce has amended its preliminary determination regarding the less-than-fair-value investigation of corrosion-resistant steel products (CORE) from Turkey. This revision corrects a significant ministerial error in the previously calculated dumping margins.
The updated weighted-average dumping margins are now set at 2.04 percent for Borcelik Celik Sanayii Ticaret A.S., ArcelorMittal Çelik Ticaret A.Ş., Bamesa Celik Servis San. Ve Tic. A.Ş., and Bamesa Muradiye Demir Çelik San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. Meanwhile, Yıldız Demir Çelik Sanayi A.S. and Yıldız Entegre Ağaç Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. remain at 15.18 percent, and all other Turkish exporters are assigned a revised rate of 8.61 percent.
The previous preliminary margins stood at zero percent for Borcelik Celik Sanayii Ticaret A.S., ArcelorMittal Çelik Ticaret A.Ş., Bamesa Celik Servis San. Ve Tic. A.Ş., and Bamesa Muradiye Demir Çelik San. Ve Tic. A.Ş., while both Yıldız Demir Çelik Sanayi A.S. and Yıldız Entegre Ağaç Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. as well as all other Turkish exporters were set at 15.18 percent.
The revised margins apply to specific steel products classified under multiple subheadings in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
