Ukraine's trade turnover for the first four months of 2025 amounted to $38.1 billion. Imports totaled $24.8 billion, while exports reached $13.3 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of $11.5 billion.
China remained Ukraine’s largest trading partner, supplying $5.2 billion worth of goods, followed by Poland at $2.3 billion and Germany at $2.1 billion. The top three imported categories were machinery and transport equipment, chemical products, and fuel and energy.
On the export side, Poland was the largest recipient of Ukrainian goods, purchasing $1.6 billion worth, followed by Turkey and Italy. The leading export categories included food products, metals and metal products, and machinery and transport equipment.
