Between January and June 2025, Ukraine’s total trade turnover reached $58.3 billion. Imports accounted for $38.3 billion, while exports totaled $20 billion. Taxable imports made up 76% of the total, amounting to $28.9 billion.
Top import sources included China ($8.2 billion), Poland ($3.5 billion), and Germany ($3.2 billion). On the export side, Poland led with $2.4 billion, followed by Turkey ($1.7 billion) and Italy ($1.2 billion).
The main import categories were machinery, equipment, and transport ($14.8 billion), chemical products ($6.2 billion), and fuel and energy goods ($4.9 billion). Leading exports were food products ($11.2 billion), metals and metal products ($2.3 billion), and machinery and transport equipment ($1.9 billion).
