Ukrainian steelmakers produced 3.07 million tonnes of commercial rolled steel in January–June 2025, down 2.2% compared to the same period in 2024. Pig iron output rose 5.8% year-on-year to 3.67 million tonnes, while crude steel production declined 4.9% to 3.68 million tonnes.

In the second quarter alone, rolled steel output reached 1.63 million tonnes, up 13.9% from Q1 but down 6.6% year-on-year. June production totaled 563,000 tonnes, a 7.3% increase from May but 1.5% lower than in June 2024.
