In February 2025, Ukraine's pipe exports experienced a notable decline, totaling 32,000 tons, which represents a 12.3% decrease compared to January and a 5.9% drop year-on-year. Export revenues also fell to $45.6 million, marking a 10.8% month-on-month decrease and a 7.2% year-on-year reduction.
The decline is attributed to reduced demand in key markets, including the EU and Turkey, as well as logistical challenges stemming from geopolitical tensions. Ukrainian pipe producers are working to adapt to these challenges by exploring alternative markets and optimizing production processes. Despite the downturn, the industry remains resilient, focusing on innovation and efficiency to navigate the complex global trade environment.
