In the first four months of 2025, Ukraine’s steelmakers increased exports of flat products to 554 thousand tons, marking a 4.1% year-on-year growth. Hot-rolled flat products accounted for over 80% of total shipments, reflecting steady demand in key markets.
Despite ongoing logistical challenges, Ukrainian producers have maintained export momentum, leveraging improved trade routes and stable production levels. Industry analysts anticipate further adjustments in the second half of the year, depending on global steel demand and economic conditions.
