In the first ten months of 2024, Ukraine’s ferroalloy industry exported 66.3 thousand tons of products. This marks a significant reduction compared to previous years, reflecting ongoing challenges in the sector. The primary markets for these exports included Poland, Turkey, and Italy.
Despite the partial resumption of operations at key plants, the industry continues to face difficulties due to high electricity costs and logistical issues. The overall decline in production and exports highlights the need for strategic measures to support the industry amidst these challenges.
