From January to November 2024, Ukraine imported 164 thousand tons of long steel products. This marks a 10.6% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The main suppliers were Turkey and Poland, with Turkey providing the largest share.
The increase in imports is attributed to higher demand for construction materials and infrastructure projects. Despite the rise in volume, the overall market conditions remain challenging due to economic uncertainties and fluctuating steel prices.
