In September 2024, Turkey’s rebar exports decreased by 19.3% compared to the same month in 2023, totaling 328.8 thousand tons. Despite this year-on-year decline, there was a 9.6% increase in exports compared to August 2024.
The primary export destinations included Palestine, Yemen, and Albania, with significant variations in export volumes to these countries. This reduction in rebar exports reflects broader market challenges and shifting trade dynamics within the steel industry.
