Tata Steel Nederland has signed a memorandum of understanding on decarbonisation with Steel Center Europe, a Czech steel service centre. Steel Center Europe, jointly owned by Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation and Spain’s Bamesa, will collaborate with Tata to support the green journey of European mills.
This partnership is expected to involve Tata supplying its emissions-reduced steel brand, Zeremis, to the Czech firm. The initiative underscores both companies’ commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon footprints in the steel industry.
