Stegra, formerly known as H2 Green Steel, has secured a €100 million grant from Sweden’s Industrial Leap Fund. This funding will support the establishment of a near-zero-emission steel production facility in Boden, northern Sweden.
The project aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions by utilizing green hydrogen in its steelmaking process. This financial boost is a crucial step towards creating a sustainable and competitive steel industry in Sweden.
