Spanish steel production in February 2025 totaled 1.05 million metric tons, marking a 1.8 percent month-on-month increase and a 10.9 percent year-on-year rise.
For the January-February period, total steel output reached 2.09 million metric tons, compared to 1.92 million metric tons in the same period of 2024. The industry also recycled 832,000 metric tons of scrap in February, reflecting a 4.5 percent increase from January and a 7.4 percent rise year-on-year.
