Spain-based steelmaker Transmesa has announced a €15 million investment to install a new stainless steel tube production line at its Sant Ramon plant in Catalonia. The facility will focus on producing tubes for hybrid and hydrogen vehicles, as well as railway machinery and semiconductor production facilities that use gases and fluids.
The expansion includes new equipment and warehouses, increasing the plant's size to over 22,000 square meters. The new production line is expected to be operational in the coming months, boosting Transmesa's annual turnover by 33 percent to €80 million.
This initiative reflects Transmesa's commitment to innovation and sustainability in the steel industry.
