In October, steel production in Southeast Europe saw a notable rebound. The region’s crude steel output reached 385,700 tonnes, marking an increase from September’s production of 368,602 tonnes. Despite this monthly improvement, the year-on-year comparison shows a 7.8% decline. Serbia led the region with the highest production, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia. The industry remains cautiously optimistic, hoping for continued recovery in the coming months.
