Slow Market Keeps Northern Europe Rod Prices Flat

The wire rod market in northern Europe has remained stable, with prices showing no significant changes due to a persistently slow market. Despite efforts by suppliers to increase prices, the demand has been consistently low, leading to flat prices.

This trend has been ongoing for several months, reflecting the quiet market environment. Currently, domestic transaction prices for drawing-quality wire rod are at €650 per tonne ex-works, while mesh-grade wire rod is priced at €630 per tonne.
