The Polish Ministry of Industry is set to host a significant meeting in early November, bringing together representatives from steel trade unions and management from various steel companies.

The agenda will focus on the overall functioning of the industry, addressing current order levels, job protection, investment financing, and the continued operation of steel plants.

This initiative comes in response to the challenges faced by the Polish steel industry, including high inflation, elevated energy and carbon costs, and increased competition from lower-priced imports.
