Polish domestic long steel prices remained stable in the week to June 20, reflecting a seasonal slowdown in market activity. Rebar prices held at 2,500–2,560 zloty per tonne CPT, with bids clustering around 2,500. Wire rod offers were similarly steady at 2,700–2,800 zloty per tonne CPT.
Market participants attributed the stagnation to summer holidays, a recent public holiday in Poland, and a lack of new construction projects. Oversupply from both domestic and international mills also contributed to the subdued trading environment.
