The Northern European rod market has stabilised this week, with wire rod prices remaining flat amid a quiet market due to the summer holidays. The stable trend from past months continues, as demand for steel commodities remains low.

Many drawing plants in Europe have temporarily lowered or postponed production, contributing to the market’s stability. Domestic transaction prices for drawing-quality wire rod are currently at €650 per tonne.
