Steel rebar prices in Northern Europe have followed the downward trend seen earlier in Southern Europe. Prices in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands have softened, with domestic material and imports adjusting to lower levels.
In Germany, rebar prices range between €635-645 per tonne delivered, while Austrian suppliers are offering at €640 per tonne. The Netherlands has seen the highest prices in the region at €670 per tonne, though this marks a slight decline from previous weeks.
Southern European markets, including Spain and Italy, have also experienced price reductions, with Italian rebar offers dropping as low as €530 per tonne ex-works in some cases.
Market participants continue to monitor demand trends and scrap price movements, which are influencing rebar pricing across Europe.
