In 2024, Metinvest Group’s steelmaking facilities in Ukraine introduced 20 new products, including six developed in collaboration with the Zaporizhstal joint venture. Despite the ongoing challenges posed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Metinvest has continued to be a vital part of the country’s economy and industry.

The new products span various segments, with 12 in long products, four in cold-rolled coils and sheets, two in hot-rolled coils and sheets, and one each in galvanized coils and semi-finished products. Kamet Steel and Zaporizhstal were the primary contributors to these innovations, with Unisteel also launching a new product in the galvanized steel segment.

These developments highlight Metinvest’s resilience and commitment to advancing its product offerings, even in the face of significant adversity.
