Italian rebar prices have been fluctuating due to poor market activity. Prices have varied by approximately €10 per tonne each week, reflecting a period of general stability despite producers’ efforts to secure increases.
The level of orders has remained stable compared to September, but activity remains subdued as customers are hesitant to commit to large volumes. Current transactions in the domestic market are around €270-290 per tonne base ex-works, with additional size extras bringing the total to approximately €530-560 per tonne.
