Hilco has launched the sale of the sections mill at Stahl Gerlafingen in Switzerland. The facility, commissioned in 2011, includes advanced rolling mill equipment, electrics, and automation systems supplied by Siemens.
The sale follows a strategic decision to divest the asset, and Hilco is offering the mill as either a complete package or in individual lots. The equipment is suitable for producing a range of structural steel profiles and is being marketed to global buyers in the steel and industrial sectors.
