The Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah is home to more than 450 companies in the steel sector, occupying an area of 50 million square feet, according to His Excellency Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority. This sector accounts for approximately 16% of the total 300 million square feet of the free zone, positioning it as a key hub for the iron industry in the Middle East and Africa. The Authority recently participated in the "Italian Critical Equipment Days" in Milan to promote investment opportunities and strategic access to regional markets. The free zone continues to enhance its infrastructure and attract global investors, supporting economic diversification in Sharjah.
