The Saudi Iron and Steel Company (Hadeed) has announced a price adjustment for its long steel products for June deliveries. The company has lowered its rebar prices by SAR 50 (USD 13) per ton, bringing the revised rate to SAR 2,230 (USD 594) per ton.
Despite this reduction, wire rod prices remain unchanged. Hadeed continues to offer wire rod (6.5-16 mm) at SAR 2,350 (USD 626) per ton. These prices are applicable on a CPT Riyadh basis and do not include the 15 percent value-added tax (VAT).
Hadeed’s latest pricing reflects adjustments in the steel market dynamics and could influence purchasing decisions for construction and infrastructure projects. The company, a major steel producer in Saudi Arabia, regularly updates its pricing based on market conditions and global steel trends.
As a key supplier of long steel products, Hadeed’s price revisions are closely monitored by industry stakeholders, including contractors and developers. The reduction in rebar prices may provide some relief amid fluctuating material costs, while the stability in wire rod pricing ensures consistency for buyers in this segment.
Market observers will continue to track steel price movements as economic and industrial developments shape demand in the region.
