German stockholding steel distributors have reported an increase in prices for long products. Sections saw a rise of €9.30 to €843 per tonne, while wide flange beams increased by €12.20 to €848 per tonne.
This trend follows a series of price hikes by mills, driven by supply shortages and restocking activities at warehouses.
Despite the challenges faced by the construction sector, stockholders anticipate that sales prices will continue to rise in the coming months.
