However, this shift is causing a labor issue in Germany. Polish workers, who previously commuted to Germany for work, are now opting to stay in Poland due to better economic conditions and a stronger Polish zloty. This trend is exacerbating the labor shortage in the German rebar industry, making it difficult for companies to retain and attract qualified workers.
