Turkey has officially ratified a free trade agreement with Ukraine, more than two years after it was initially signed. The agreement, signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in February 2022, aims to enhance economic cooperation between the two nations.
The deal will eliminate import duties on a significant portion of industrial and agricultural goods over the next decade, fostering increased trade and economic growth. This agreement is expected to unify the Black Sea region into a single economic space, excluding Russia, and promote mutual trade benefits for both countries.
