Vietnam's Formosa Ha Tinh Steel (FHS) has announced stable hot rolled coil (HRC) prices for December and January shipments, matching competitor Hoa Phat Group. As of November 12, FHS set its non-skin passed HRC price at VND 13,530/kg ($534/tonne) for orders of 20,000 tonnes or more. Prices vary with tonnage; orders of 10,000-20,000t are priced at $538/t, and 5,000-10,000t at $541/t. While the latest prices are $8/t lower than last month’s official rates, they reflect an increase of VND 160,000/t in local currency.
