According to Steelorbis, Turkey's industrial turnover index, as reported by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), showed a 5.6% increase in February compared to the previous month and a 77.3% increase compared to January 2023.

Specifically, the manufacture of basic metals saw a 2.0% month-on-month increase and a 75.4% year-on-year increase. Meanwhile, fabricated metal product manufacturing experienced a 5.5% month-on-month increase and a 74.1% year-on-year increase. The total turnover index, which includes industry, construction, trade, and services sectors, increased by 85.1% on an annual basis in February 2024.
