European hot-rolled coil prices have remained largely unchanged as slow demand and competitive import offers continue to weigh on market sentiment.
In Northern Europe, mills are offering July-delivery HRC at €620-630 per tonne ex-works, though buyers estimate tradable values closer to €590-600 per tonne ex-works. Some transactions have been reported at €600 per tonne delivered, reflecting ongoing price adjustments.
Italy-origin coil is being offered to Germany at €630 per tonne delivered, with bids around €610 per tonne. Competitive import offers, particularly from Indonesia, are adding downward pressure, with Indonesian-origin HRC available at €490-500 per tonne CFR Italy.
Market participants expect further price declines as buyers remain hesitant to commit to purchases amid ongoing uncertainty.
