In Southern Europe, offers for HRC hover around €640-660 per tonne delivered, with some transactions occurring at €620-630 per tonne ex-works. The market remains quiet as participants evaluate the impact of new US tariffs on aluminum and steel, which could influence European exports.
Despite the current stagnation, industry sources anticipate a potential price increase in the second half of the year, driven by strong order books at European mills.
