European hot-rolled coil (HRC) prices have seen a slight increase, supported by limited imports and reduced domestic supplies. In Northern Europe, prices for June/July delivery HRC are being offered at €670-700 per tonne ex-works, with some transactions occurring closer to €640-660 per tonne.
In Southern Europe, offers for HRC have reached €650-660 per tonne ex-works, reflecting a similar upward trend. The positive sentiment in the market is driven by stable demand and constrained supply, encouraging buyers to accept higher prices for stock replenishment.
Market participants remain cautiously optimistic as they navigate evolving supply dynamics and pricing trends.
