Nearly 20 European companies have formed an alliance to advance the H2Med Southwestern Hydrogen Corridor. This initiative aims to connect hydrogen production, storage, and consumption projects across France, Germany, Portugal, and Spain. The goal is to accelerate the implementation of the corridor by the early 2030s, supporting the decarbonization of industrial regions.
The alliance includes major players like Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, DH2 Energy España, Elyse Energy, and Thyssenkrupp Steel Europe. This collaboration is expected to create a robust European hydrogen value chain, contributing to the European Green Deal and Fit for 55 goals.
