Emirates Steel, a subsidiary of the Amsteel Group, has announced that its rebar prices for June production will remain unchanged for the fifth consecutive month. The price for shipments to Abu Dhabi is set at AED 2,660 ($724) per ton, while shipments to Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates will be priced at AED 2,668 ($726). These rates do not include the additional 5% value-added tax.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Steel boasts an annual production capacity of 3.5 million tons of steel and 4.6 million tons of cement. The company exports its products to over 70 international markets, with exports accounting for 30% of its total sales. It manufactures a wide range of steel products, including wire rods, rebar, heavy sections, and slabs.
