In November 2024, Dnipro Metallurgical Plant (DMZ) produced 7.1 thousand tons of rolled steel, a significant increase from no production in October. However, this figure represents a 12% decrease compared to November 2023. During the month, Rolling Shop No. 2 produced various sizes of channels, ranging from 8 to 30. The plant is currently finalizing product shipments and repairing main equipment, with the next rolling campaign scheduled for January 2025.
Metallurgical coke production at DMZ decreased by 4.1% compared to the previous month, remaining at the same level as November 2023, with 23.5 thousand tons produced. For the period of January to November 2024, DMZ’s rolled steel production dropped by 57.3% year-on-year to 42.9 thousand tons, while metallurgical coke production decreased by 1% year-on-year to 266.1 thousand tons.
