Between March 10 and 16, China's Ministry of Commerce reported a modest decrease in average finished steel prices. Rebar and high-speed wire rod prices fell by 0.7 percent each, while common steel plate prices dipped by 0.3 percent.
Meanwhile, thermal coal prices rose by 0.9 percent during the same period. However, coking coal and smoke-free lump coal prices experienced declines of 2.0 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively.
