Anti-dumping and countervailing duties on seamless carbon or alloy steel oil and gas well casing supply from China into Canada will continue, according to a statement from the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT).

The tribunal stated that the orders made on the casing in November 2018 are necessary, concluding that the expiry of the order was likely to result in injury.

As a result, the Tribunal has continued its order. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will enforce these duties to maintain fair market conditions.
