Canada's Border Services Agency (CBSA) has terminated its dumping investigation into concrete reinforcing bars exported from Thailand, concluding that Thai Steel Profile Public Co Ltd did not engage in dumping practices. However, the investigation regarding rebar from Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates remains ongoing, with a final determination yet to be reached. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will continue its inquiry into potential injury to the domestic industry, with a decision expected by January 13, 2025. Provisional duties will still apply to certain companies, while export dumping margins for rebar from the investigated countries are currently set at zero.
