Bunyan Steel's Saudi subsidiary, the first Chinese steel investment in Saudi Arabia, is gearing up for production in the fourth quarter. The plant, located in the industrial city of Al Kharj, Riyadh, is nearing completion and is set to commence operations in October. With an annual capacity designed for 500,000 tonnes of rebar, 300,000 tonnes of wire rod, and other sections, this facility represents a significant investment by Bunyan Steel, surpassing $100 million. A senior company manager shared with Kallanish that the plant's construction is progressing well, highlighting the company's commitment to expanding its presence in the Saudi steel market.
