Czech steel sheet processor Beneva has developed an innovative system to reprocess automotive sheet scrap without the need for remelting. The “SATURNIN” system collects and reprocesses post-industrial scrap from automotive blanking, transforming it into reusable steel sheets.
This technology reduces the carbon footprint and costs associated with steel production. Beneva collaborates with regional steel service centers and automotive manufacturers like Ĺ koda Auto, aiming to scale the system further and expand its application to other types of scrap.
