Ashry Steel Group has announced the initial operation of the Galfa Engineering Industries Factory, one of the largest facilities for producing lighting poles and structural towers in Egypt. This move supports infrastructure development and meets the growing demand in local and regional markets.
The new factory has a production capacity of up to 2,000 tons per month of various types of lighting poles, including those for streets, highways, squares, and stadiums, with heights up to 30 meters. Additionally, the factory produces low and medium voltage power transmission towers, communication towers, and cable trays, making it an integrated center for large metal structures.
The factory also includes the largest galvanizing facility in the Middle East, with a production capacity of up to 10,000 tons per month. This facility provides high-quality metal coating solutions that ensure corrosion resistance and improve product quality.
Established in cooperation with the Italian company Gimeco, the factory operates with the latest automatic systems, making it one of the largest galvanizing stations in terms of size and production capacity in the region.
Through this project, Ashry Steel Group strengthens its role in the engineering industries sector, offering advanced solutions that contribute to infrastructure development with international standards, enhancing Egypt's position as a leading industrial destination in the Middle East.
